Michael Duff was born and raised in Paterson, a small country town on the east coast of Australia. He moved to the nations capital, Canberra, to study television production and multimedia at the University of Canberra. He graduated from his bachelors to begin a career as an editor on regional television, Channel 10, and then as a broadcast designer at Canberra's leading production facility, Bearcage, There, Michael produced media that ranged from boutique advertising to music video and documentary filmmaking.

Michael's quest to explore the world and produce compelling media led him to Cambodia, where he has lived for the past 2 years, and the incorporation of goodmorningbeautful - a four person strong team of dedicated filmmakers with no fixed address. Michael and goodmorningbeautiful have traveled to over 14 countries to produce films and media that are both entertaining and informative – all the while addressing current social and environmental issues and give a voice to people who are often not heard.

His work has been screened on national television and cinema screens across Australia, and around the globe on The National Geographic Channel. Michael also loves SCUBA diving, photography, folk music and his orange Vespa, which is currently parked in Phnom Penh.
